I grew up to believe that each city has it’s own style, as every city has different vibes – this is probably what makes me such a committed tourist; when I travel I feel obliged to fully merge in my conception of what the city is. Minimalistic elegance in Paris, ripped denim in London and total maximalism when in comes to any russian city. See, I do not really have a style to which I stick, it all depends of my environment.
Although Locarno is in Switzerland, everything there screams Italy; from the very rich-in-details-and-colours architecture to the delicious gelaterias you can find on every street corner.  Thus, as we woke up there the day after our Locarno Film Festival experience, Charles and I decided to allow ourselves a few precious hours in the Italian part before heading back home. Seeing the sunshine and high palm trees I put aside the black lace jumpsuit I prepared for the day, and decided for something more colorful: a vintage creme blouse, an orange trapeze skirt, those golden Gucci slippers (that received many funny glances in the streets) and highlight of my look: my brand new brick-red Celine bag that was on my wishlist since forever.
