GLADIATOR

There was a dream called Rome” said Maximus just before dying. (For those of you who have never seen the film “Gladiator” with Russell Crowe, I strongly recommend it!)
Indeed, Rome is a dream. The second day of our trip, we visited the Colosseum, the Palatinum and the ruins. These discoveries plunged us into a very specific atmosphere of Rome. It’s quite amazing to think that several decades before Jesus Christ, people were able to construct such fascinating monuments.

A piece of friendly advice that could come in handy: if you want to visit the Colosseum, you have to wait (roughly) one hour before being able to buy the entry tickets, but if you go to the Palatinum first, you can directly buy tickets for the Palatinum-Ruins-Colosseum; you’ll only wait ten minutes!

I decided to wear something very special : my old spartiate shoes and a long turquoise dress, accessorized with gold bracelets. The result is really interesting, isn’t it?
